Knights Win Again

The Nashua Silver Knights returned to Brockton Friday night for their third meeting with the Rox

this week. Patrick Harrington started on the mound, dominating for six innings with eight strike
outs and only allowing one run.
The first hit for the Knights came in the second inning from Jack Arend, who went 2-4 on the
night with a bunt in the sixth inning. Scoring opened up for Nashua with a pair of doubles in the
third from Kyle Sandstrom and Noah Lucier. A single from Mike La Rocca scored Lucier to put
the Knights up by two headed into the fourth inning.
A solo home run by Liam Deegan in the fourth secured another run. Brockton’s Mitch Donofrio
was able to score after a double and later an error by the Knights’ left fielder. After quick
appearances by Cam Schlittler and Joe Grassett on the mound, George Welch was able to finish
the last five outs for the Knights, including three strike outs in the ninth inning.
The Silver Knights improve to 10-8 and will be in Pittsfield on Saturday night to take on the Suns
starting at 6:00 p.m.
